• February 19th, 2009

*Kappa Alpha Alpha Colony was established in Orono, Maine at the University of Maine.

*Founding sisters: Ashley Callan, Jenna Barry, Jennifer Cohen, Meagan Koskinen, Taryn Denoncour, Kayla Smith, Hanna Horecha, Stephanie Guillemette, Katie Ramirez, & Kasey Fitch.

• Fall 2009

*1st affiliate class was pledged into the Kappa Alpha Alpha Colony.

*Affiliates: Bethany Tibbetts, Abigail Royer, Hillary Hoyt, Emily Stiles, & Kristin Spellman.

• April 17th, 2010

*Kappa Alpha Alpha colony received its charter at Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority’s National Convention; thus making it an official chapter.

• Fall 2011

*Gamma class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Taylor Buotte, Elise Hart, & Julia Chapin.

• Spring 2012

*Delta class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Jessica Woods, Victoria Hogan, Mary Dever, & Kathleen Powers.

*Received the best display award at the Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority’s National Convention.

• Fall 2012

*Epsilon class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Maria Mitchell & Norah Bird.

• Spring 2013

*Zeta class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Kasey Watson, Emily Shannon, Emily Krusec, Kate Lindsay, & Morgan Smith.

*Received the Outstanding Chapter award at the Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority’s National Convention.

• Spring 2014

*Eta class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Jenny Karod, Jenna Somers, Alie Pergerson, Olivia Jones, Sierra Moore, & Callie Theodore.

*Organized & held the first annual Color Me Kappa 5k Paint Run.

*Raised over $1400 for the 2014 national philanthropy, Make-a-Wish America.

*First semester on the University of Maine’s Panhellenic Council.

*Placed 4th in Greek Week.

*Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority reunited with their brother fraternity, Kappa Delta Phi, to hold a joint convention – the first time in 5 years!

• Fall 2014

*Theta class pledged in.

*Affiliates: Hannah Hitte, Victoria Eaton, Sydney Jones, Taylor Ouellette, Katy Chevalier

*Established new bonds with new Greek organizations and strengthened old ones.

*Pledged in our first 2 legacies: Taylor Ouellette (KI mother) & Sydney Jones (KAA sister).

• Spring 2015

*We have high hopes for this upcoming semester & future affiliate members!

*We plan to be more active on campus & establish more of a presence within the Greek community.

*We strive to increase our focus on academics and philanthropy for this coming semester.
